Job Responsibilities:
Setup the test bed as per the hardware configuration matrix for the release consisting of platforms, peripherals, add-on cards etc and then install required software like firmware, BIOS, OS etc. Perform validation and/or certification as per the Test Strategy / Plan.
Troubleshoot system/component issues (Hardware/Software). Characterize and provide support in Root Cause Analysis of the defects on multiple VMware ESX/ESXi versions.

Job Requirements:
Should be very good in Computer Architecture, with good exposure to Hardware, BIOS, and Firmware layers.
Should have good understanding of Hypervisors (ESX/ESXi architecture), networking and storage subsystems.
Should have hands-on exposure to VMware ESX/ESXi server and vCenter Server, good understanding of other virtualization technologies will be a plus.
